Diving aboard the Damai I in 2023!

Dive Travel Services is going back to Komodo, Indonesia!

After 9 long years, the owners of Damai have a couple of January trips to Komodo! The water is the warmest from November to February but most Indonesian Liveaboards concentrate on Raja Ampat during those months & dive Komodo during our summer months when the water can be in the 60s in South Komodo! Luckily Dive Damai has two beautiful vessels so while one of them will, indeed, be diving Raja Ampat, Damai I will be doing a couple Komodo trips and I snagged one of them!

Dates for this trip are January 9-20, 2023 and we will depart and return from Labuan Bajo on the island of Flores, the closest harbor to Komodo and with easy air connections from Bali. Damai I hosts 14 guests and almost as many crew. Included in their pricing is accommodation of your choosing, all with en-suite bathroom (see below); airport transfers; all meals and drinks while onboard (excluding wine & Spirits) with one glass of wine complimentary at dinner; air tanks, weight belt & weights; free Nitrox; unlimited daytime diving and night dives (as requested and schedule permitting); free laundry service; 1st spa treatment complimentary; government taxes; land tours & group activities organized by Dive Damai. Dive Travel Services will also include your port & harbour fees of $22/pp/night.

EXCLUSIONS: Komodo National Park entrance fees to be determined by the government (usually around $20-25/pp/night for the nights we’re actually inside the MP. Trip cancellation insurance will be MANDATORY for all guests as well as DAN Insurance. Crew gratuities are also additional. International & domestic flights are additional. Indonesian Visa (cost TBD at this time); any additional hotels & food ashore either before or after the cruise.

Cabins 1, 2, 3, 4 & 7 are priced at $6765/pp based on double occupancy.
Master Cabin 5 is priced at $7315/pp based on double occupancy.
Master Cabin 6 (with a private balcony) is priced at $7315/pp based on double occupancy.
RETURN GUESTS of Dive Travel Services aboard Damai are entitled to a 5% discount.
A NON-REFUNDABLE (unless space can be resold) deposit of $1500/pp is required to confirm your spots. Final balance will be due by October 1st, 2022.

Flights will be in the schedule to book around the end of February, 2022. Indonesia has a MANDATORY Covid vaccine requirement*. IT IS THE TRAVELER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE ALL Indonesian Immigration and COVID REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN MET OR AIRLINE BOARDING WILL BE DENIED.* Passports with 6 months remaining validity are required to travel to Indonesia.
